FXIFY and gold EAs: can you run a trading bot?

Prop firms like FXIFY fund traders who pass a challenge, but every account comes with rules on daily loss, drawdown and trading style. Here is what that means for gold trading bots, and which GoldBot tools fit the rules.

Prop-firm rules and trading bots

Every FXIFY account has limits that close or fail the account when they are broken. The exact numbers change, so always read FXIFY's current rules, but they usually cover:

  • Daily loss limit: how much you may lose in one day.
  • Maximum drawdown: how far the account may fall in total.
  • Trading-style rules: many firms restrict grid, martingale or recovery strategies, latency arbitrage and copying the same trades across accounts.
  • News rules: some forbid opening or holding trades around high-impact releases.
  • EA policy: whether Expert Advisors are allowed at all, and on which account types.
GoldBot Air is not a good fit for prop challenges. Its recovery system increases lot sizes after losing trades, which conflicts with typical daily-loss and strategy rules. We do not recommend running it on a FXIFY account.

GoldBot tools that fit prop-firm rules

  • Free GoldBot App: Scalping and Trend signals, a live XAUUSD chart, key levels and pivots, price alerts and a market brief to plan manual trades. See every feature.
  • News countdown and impact history: know when high-impact US releases are due, and how far gold usually moves after them.
  • Gold calculator: size each trade from the money you are willing to lose, so one trade can never break the daily limit.
  • GoldBot SideKick (coming soon): an MT5 co-pilot that puts a stop on every manual trade, caps your exposure and stops the day at a loss limit you choose. Learn more.

Free gold signals for any broker

Whatever you trade with, the free GoldBot App gives you live XAUUSD Scalping and Trend signals, a live candlestick chart, price alerts, key levels and pivots, a daily market brief, a volatility meter, a lot-size calculator and the US news countdown with past impact.

FXIFY FAQ

Can I use GoldBot Air on a FXIFY account?

We do not recommend it. GoldBot Air uses a recovery system that increases lot sizes after losing trades, and most prop firms, FXIFY included, set strict daily loss and drawdown limits and often restrict grid, martingale or recovery strategies. Always read FXIFY's current rules before running any EA.

Which GoldBot tools suit prop-firm trading?

The free GoldBot App (signals, live chart, key levels, price alerts, news countdown and calculator) helps you trade gold by hand, and GoldBot SideKick (coming soon) protects manual trades with stops, risk caps and a day loss stop that can match a prop firm's daily limit.

How do I avoid breaking the daily loss limit?

Size every trade from the money you are willing to lose (the GoldBot calculator does this), keep a hard stop on every position, and stop trading for the day before you reach the limit. Watch high-impact news, which many prop firms restrict.

Is GoldBot affiliated with FXIFY?

No. FXIFY is a trademark of its owner. GoldBot is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by FXIFY.
